In today’s journalistic world, I believe it’s impossible to have just one goal, one plan, or one career in mind. Not only do you have to do everything and do it well, but one must be more open, innovative, and savvy than those around you. As the next generation of journalists flood in, those who founded a staple in the industry must figure out how to reinvent it. This is thrilling to me, and why I believe I can be a staple myself, whether it be through the Internet, Print, or Television. My goal isn’t to report on the news, it’s to unveil it. I want to make journalism more. More personal, more entertaining, more emotional, more “big picture.”
